I felt like I was having a Déjà vu last night watching the New England Patriots take on the Denver Broncos.
Just the night before, I watched the UConn Huskies come back from a 21-0 halftime deficit to win 28-21. Last night, I witnessed the same thing.
After a miserable first half in which they turned the ball over and over, the Patriots came out in the second looking like a well oiled machine, the Patriots team we know and love.
And when all was said and done, they came out on top as Stephen Gostkowski kicked a 31-yard field goal in overtime to give the Patriots 34-31 win over Peyton Manning and the Broncos on a bitterly cold and windy night at Gillette Stadium.
Tom Brady finished 34-of-50 for 344 yards and three touchdowns. 200 of those yards and the three touchdowns went to Julian Edelman (two TDs, 110 yards) and Rob Gronkowski (one TD, 90 yards). Brandon Bolden added a rushing touchdown.
